Ted
Gilmer likes to think that his leather and wood journals,
bags and boxes are reminiscent of an earlier time, when the
most valuable things you owned were made by your own hands.
These refillable journalas are totaly handmade in Northern
Michigan using recycled paper and scrap wood of sustainable
growth forest. When Gilmer isn't making journals, he sometimes
finds time to make beautiful wooden boats for use in and around
Lake Michigan. His full-size wood and leather sleigh is also
a wonderful sight.
