Meet with Minnesota artist Susan Crow and gemstone dealer, Margit Thorndal, to discuss custom order options for contemporary rings and other gemstone jewelry. Crow uses only ethically sourced materials in her work, including recycled gold and silver, fairmined 18k gold. She is a member of Ethical Metalsmiths, a nonprofit devoted to Green jewelry design.

A benefit for the Gerald Eskin Ceramics Art Intiative at the University of Iowa, an endowed fund to be used by the University of Iowa Foundation to support porgramming and exhibitions offered by the University of Iowa Museum of Art related to the field of ceramics. Reception: September 5, in conjunction with University of Iowa Museum of Art's First Fridays.
